New restaurant spotlight: Blanco Tacos + Tequila in Mission Valley, San Diego. Located on top the floor previously occupied by CPK. This is their first location in California. Blanco is a great place for happy hour, hang out, girls day out, family lunch/dinner. The service is great & everyone is friendly.

Blanco Tacos + Tequila is from the Fox Restaurant Concept, Sam Fox. His vision & passion for great design & food shows on the decor inside. If you are an influencer this is a perfect spot for Instagram. The chic vibrant colors really pops on camera.

Sam is New York Time best-selling cookbook author and recently named of one the 50 most influential people in the restaurant industry Nation’s Restaurant News for two consecutive years.

I ordered their Mexican Pizza (Smoked Bacon, French Fries Charred Onion & Over Easy Eggs),  Ensaladas (Avocado & Green Apple) and Refrescos (Watermelon & Limeade) Mexican food with a modern twist.

After my meal I had to order their caramelized banana split. I couldn’t wait to dig in, is it obvious? Hehe
